Type specimen: GP/2T-2 IG-USP, a partial skeleton (complete fish lacking the caudal fin). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Santana Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general)
