Type specimen: YFGP-T5198, a skeleton (Complete skeleton). Its type locality is Yaolugou locality, which is in a Bathonian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Yaolugou locality
