Sister taxon: Romeosaurus fumanensis

Type specimen: NHMV-V7481, a partial skull (Two maxillae, the left dentary, frontal, posterior end of the left mandibular ramus). Its type locality is S. Anna di Alfaedo quarries (helvetica Zone), which is in a Turonian/Turonian marine limestone in the Scaglia Rossa Veneta Formation of Italy.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at S. Anna di Alfaedo quarries (helvetica Zone)
