Type specimen: PKUP V3007, a partial skull (incomplete skull with well-preserved snout and left temporal region, but lacking the right zygomatic arch and much of the occiput). Its type locality is Beishan Hills, Quarry 3, Subei County, which is in an Olenekian lacustrine shale in the Hongyanjing Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Beishan Hills, Quarry 3, Subei County
