Type specimen: NIGP 115763, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is Xinhua County ADS-710, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in the Hsikuangshan Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at Xinhua County ADS-710
