Type specimen: UW 2382, a set of postcrania (a carapace, plastron, partial pectoral and pelvic girdles, and one cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is NE of Opal, UW locality V-65004 (V65004, V.65004), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at NE of Opal, UW locality V-65004 (V65004, V.65004)
