Type specimen: SMNS 59754, a tooth (left upper ("palatine") toothplate). Its type locality is Gonser quarry, Ohmden (Lias Epsilon II-6), which is in a Falciferum marine shale in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Gonser quarry, Ohmden (Lias Epsilon II-6)
