Type specimen: VT-1221, a set of vertebrae (Posterior trunk vertebra). Its type locality is Falésia do Sismito, which is in a Cenomanian coastal horizon in the Alcântara Formation of Brazil.

Distribution: found only at Falésia do Sismito
