Type specimen: UALVP 14918, a set of vertebrae (atlantal centrum). Its type locality is Bug Creek Anthills, which is in a Maastrichtian coarse channel fill sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (4: Montana, Wyoming collections)
