  • Nothosaurus giganteus: BT uncatalogued, a partial skull (skull fragments). Its type locality is Oschenberg, near Laineck, which is in a Ladinian marine horizon in Germany.
  • Nothosaurus aduncidens: 4200, a partial skull (premaxillae). Its type locality is Upper Muschelkalk, Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, which is in a Ladinian shallow subtidal limestone in Germany.
  • Nothosaurus andriani: BT uncatalogued, a skull.
  • Nothosaurus angustifrons: SMNS 51972, a skull. Its type locality is Upper Muschelkalk, Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, which is in a Ladinian shallow subtidal limestone in Germany.
  • Nothosaurus baruthicus: SMF R-475, a skull.
  • Nothosaurus chelydrops: SMNS 7162.
  • Opeosaurus suevicus: SMNS 4141, a mandible. Its type locality is Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart, which is in a Ladinian marine horizon in Germany.
