Type specimen: HGI Ob-4465/a, c, d and e (syntypes), a partial skull (one basioccipital, one ectopterygoid, one fragmentary parabasisphenoid, and one fragmentary palatine). Its type locality is Polgárdi 2, which is in a MN 13 sinkhole /limestone in Hungary.
