Type specimen: MGUH VP 27637, a skull (left-lateral view). Its type locality is Cuneognathus gardineri type locality, which is in a Famennian lacustrine shale/mudstone in the Obrutschew Bjerg Formation of Greenland.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Cuneognathus gardineri type locality
