Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: USTL THR 407, a mandible (nearly complete left dentary with part of splenial). Its type locality is Adrar Mgorn 1, which is in a Thanetian peritidal limestone in the Jbel Guersif Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Adrar Mgorn 1
