Type specimens:

  • Incamys bolivianus: SAL 117A, SAL 117B, a skull (anterior portion of the skull, back as far as M3, with associated ramus, including a complete set of upper and lower cheek teeth). Its type locality is Salla, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Salla Formation of Bolivia.
  • Incamys pretiosus: MNHN SAL 162, a partial skull ("portio de tête avec région basale de l'arrière-crâne" (part of head with the basicranium)). Its type locality is Salla, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Salla Formation of Bolivia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

• Deseadan of Argentina (1 collection), Bolivia (3)

• Oligocene of Argentina (1)
