Type specimen: PU no. 21948, a mandible (Three anterior lower cheek teeth (P4-M2) and mandible). Its type locality is Salla, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Salla Formation of Bolivia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
