Type specimen: IGM 6853. Its type locality is Site IGM-2513, Tlayúa Quarry (CONACyT quarry 1), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder-detritivore
Distribution: found only at Site IGM-2513, Tlayúa Quarry (CONACyT quarry 1)
