Type specimen: GEOBOL SAL (Salla) 539, a mandible (Fragment of a right mandibular ramus with posterior root of M1, M2 missing tip of protoconid, and M3 missing tips of protoconid and paraconid). Its type locality is Salla, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Salla Formation of Bolivia.
