Type specimen: GPIT 1017/1, a partial skeleton (Disrupted skeleton missing portions of the anal and dorsal fins, skull roof and braincase. The left mandible was found approximately 1.5 m from the skeleton and). Its type locality is Ohmden, GPIT specimen, epsilon III, which is in a Toarcian marine shale in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Ohmden, GPIT specimen, epsilon III
