Type specimen: AMNH 1135, a partial shell (partial plastron). Its type locality is Barnsboro "greensand" (Hornerstown), which is in a Maastrichtian marginal marine horizon in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Barnsboro "greensand" (Hornerstown)
