Type specimen: SDM 20090109.1, 20090109.2, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jianchang
