Type specimen: BMNH 30936, a partial shell (conjoined epiplastrals, imperfect posteriorly). Its type locality is St-Gérand-le-Puy, which is in an Aquitanian fluvial-lacustrine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in France.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at St-Gérand-le-Puy
