Type specimen: BMNH R1557, a limb element (left humerus). Its type locality is Bracklesham, Earnley Formation, which is in a Lutetian marginal marine sandstone in the Earnley Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Bracklesham, Earnley Formation
