Type specimen: POKM 11658, Penza Province, Regional Studies Museum, a partial skeleton (skull, seven cervical vertebrae, vertebral impressions, scapulae, and two paddles). Its type locality is Zatolokino Village, which is in a Santonian marine sandstone in the Russian Federation.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Zatolokino Village
