Type specimen: Somerset County Museum, Taunton, UK [TTNCM] 8348, a set of postcrania (a postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Watchet, pre-planorbis beds, which is in a Hettangian marine shale in the Blue Lias Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Watchet, pre-planorbis beds
