Type specimen: PMNH (YPM) 2763, a set of vertebrae (single vertebral centrum with one anterior zygapophysis). Its type locality is Squankum - Shark River Marl [Nautiloida], which is in an Eocene coastal siliciclastic in the Shark River Marl Formation of New Jersey.
Distribution: found only at Squankum - Shark River Marl [Nautiloida]
