Type specimen: GLAHM V2051 (previously SPW 2272), a partial skeleton (complete skull and anterior axial skeleton). Its type locality is East Kirkton site (Units 70-82: East Kirkton Limestone), which is in a Brigantian spring shale/limestone in the East Kirkton Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at East Kirkton site (Units 70-82: East Kirkton Limestone)
