Type specimen: IVPP V8948.1, a skeleton. Its type locality is Ningchiakou, Mengyin, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Mengyin Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Ningchiakou, Mengyin
