Sister taxa: Asiatosuchus depressifrons, Asiatosuchus germanicus, Asiatosuchus grangeri, Asiatosuchus oenotriensis, Crocodylus vicetinus

Type specimen: IVPP V.2773, a partial skeleton (Posterior parts of lower jaws, few vertebrae and fragments of limb bones). Its type locality is Hukou, Nanhsiung (field no. 6228), which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial claystone in the Nongshan Formation of China.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of China (4 collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
