Type specimen: NJSM 11902, a partial skeleton (Isolated left ectopterygoid and lower jaws with associated postcranial remains). Its type locality is Inversand Company marl pit, Sewell (MFL), which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene shallow subtidal sandstone in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.

Distribution: found only at Inversand Company marl pit, Sewell (MFL)
