Sister taxon: Gilmoremys gettyspherensis

Type specimen: USNM 6727, an other (a nearly complete carapace and an isolated hyoplastral fragment). Its type locality is Niobrara County, United States Geological Survey, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (6: Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming collections)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
