Type specimen: MCSNIO P459, a skeleton. Its type locality is Cà del Frate, Viggiù, Monte San Giorgio, which is in a Longobardian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Meride Formation of Italy.

Ecology: grazer-detritivore

Distribution: found only at Cà del Frate, Viggiù, Monte San Giorgio
