Sister taxon: Glypta aurora
Type specimen: Lee 76, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Green River (Lee Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Green River (Lee Collection)
