Type specimen: V. J. 110-155, a skull (skull with right c-p5 and left p2-m1). Its type locality is Guimarota, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal coal in the Alcobaça Formation of Portugal.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution: found only at Guimarota
