Belongs to Lithecphora according to S. H. Scudder 1890
Sister taxa: Lithecphora diaphana, Lithecphora murata, Lithecphora unicolor
Type specimen: PU 1.121, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (former Princeton collection), which is in an Eocene lacustrine - large shale/volcaniclastic in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Florissant (former Princeton collection)
