Belongs to Palecphora according to S. H. Scudder 1890
Sister taxa: Palecphora communis, Palecphora inornata, Palecphora maculata, Palecphora marvinei, Palecphora praevalens
Type specimen: Lee 1(143), an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Green River (Lee Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Green River (Lee Collection)
