Type specimen: YPM 1734, a set of postcrania (pelvis, both coracoids, both scapulae, proximal end of left clavicle, proximal end of left radius, left ulnare and radiale, right carpometacarpus, right phalang). Its type locality is north side, Smoky Hill River, 5 mi W Russell Springs, which is in a Santonian offshore shale in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at north side, Smoky Hill River, 5 mi W Russell Springs
