Type specimen: MSNTUP I-15459, a partial skeleton (skull and partial skeleton). Its type locality is Khashm el-Raqaba, which is in a Bartonian carbonate limestone in the Gebel Hof Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Khashm el-Raqaba
