Type specimen: PU 1.385, an exoskeleton (body broken). Its type locality is Florissant (former Princeton collection), which is in an Eocene lacustrine - large shale/volcaniclastic in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
Distribution: found only at Florissant (former Princeton collection)
