Type specimen: UALVP 29905, a mandible (a nearly complete left dentary bearing 11 teeth and spaces for five others). Its type locality is Verdigris Coulee (UA-MR-6), which is in a Santonian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Milk River Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution: found only at Verdigris Coulee (UA-MR-6)
