Sister taxon: Lazarussuchus dvoraki
Type specimen: Claude Bernard University no Re 437, coll. Gennevaux 92813, a skeleton (almost complete postcranial skeleton and partial skull). Its type locality is Armissam quarry, near Narbonne, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene terrestrial limestone in France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Armissam quarry, near Narbonne
