Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: UALVP 29742, a mandible (a fragmentary left mandible having splenial firmly articulated with the dentary, and having eight posterior teeth and the base of the last dentary tooth). Its type locality is Irvine microvertebrate site, which is in a Judithian terrestrial horizon in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Canada.
