Type specimen: NSM PA 14634. Its type locality is Gongen-dani Valley, SR-2, Mount Ryozen-san, Shiga Prefecture, which is in a Sakmarian reef, buildup or bioherm packstone in the Ryozensan Formation of Japan.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Gongen-dani Valley, SR-2, Mount Ryozen-san, Shiga Prefecture
