Type specimen: GMV2139 a, b, a skeleton (a nearly complete skeleton consisting of a partial skull and all of the postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Sihetun, lower Yixian (general), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale/siltstone in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Sihetun, lower Yixian (general)
