Type specimen: IVPP V6074, a partial skull (An incomplete skull and lower jaw). Its type locality is Hengdong Basin, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Limuping Formation of China.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at Hengdong Basin
