Sister taxon: Susisuchus anatoceps

Type specimen: Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Porto Alegre, Laboratory of Vertebrate Palaeontology collection 00001K, a partial skull (Posterior portion of skull). Its type locality is South of Lima Campos dam, which is in a Berriasian/Barremian fluvial sandstone/sandstone in Brazil.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at South of Lima Campos dam
