Type specimen: ZPAL V.33/15, a partial skull (ventral part of the braincase with basioccipital and basisphenoid and a separate articulating piece of the right exoccipital-opisthotic, including approximately). Its type locality is Lipie Slaskie clay-pit, Lisowice, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian terrestrial claystone in the Zbaszynek Beds/Wielichowo Beds Formation of Poland.
