Sister taxon: Phygadeuon crassicornis
Type specimen: USNM 66580, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is White River (Scudder collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Utah.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at White River (Scudder collection)
