Type specimen: USNM 66549, a wing (apical part of wing). Its type locality is Green River (Scudder Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Green River (Scudder Collection)
