Type specimen: Holotype NYSM 13222, paratypes NYSM 13223-13226. Its type locality is road cut on NY Route 28, west of Cooperstown, which is in a Givetian coastal shale in the Panther Mountain Formation of New York.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore-suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at road cut on NY Route 28, west of Cooperstown
