Type specimen: DPC 6202, a partial skeleton (head and anterior part of body). Its type locality is Quarry O, which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry O
